Diflucan

Diflucan (fluconazole) can be used by people diagnosed with fungal infections of the lungs, esophagus, mouth, throat, abdomen and blood, as well as vaginal yeast infection. Make sure you follow all the directions but do not take a double dose unless prescribed otherwise. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed without exceeding the dose or taking less than needed. Taking more may lead to an overdose, with hallucinations being typical, and if you take less your infection may not be treated completely. Dizziness, diarrhea, headache, stomach pain, and heartburn are the most commonly reported mild side effects of Diflucan. You are not supposed to report them to your doctor immediately, as in most cases they just go away on their own. However, if any of these side effects persist or change in intensity you may need a dose adjustment, so a doctor’s consultation is required.
